What happens if I trim this and mess up, can I return the mat?

What is the height of the inner lip?

The height of the inner lip in the mat is .25 inches.

WeatherTech Canada warrants that our products will be free from any defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser and only for the original vehicle they were installed in. Exclusions to this warranty include wear due to severe abrasive conditions, chemical contamination, such as spilled gasoline, bleach, vehicle accidents, misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, incorrect use, etc.

Depending on the circumstance, we will either replace your product at no charge, charge you a prorated amount for a replacement, or issue a full or prorated refund. This Cut to Fit mat is The BOMB! Rubber/grippy/& tacky to keep things from sliding AND a much better value than BMW brand (poshely priced) or even the custom fit WeatherTech version. It's rugged, stays firmly in place and catches all the gritty debris from whatever you put in the cargo area. I'm still grinning ear to ear on this one based on quality and savings/value. I feel like I got a deal/steal on this one - even though it was still ~$50 significantly less that BMW product. Cut it precisely to my cargo space and Go Go Go....

This Trunk Mat Will Be Useful

We were unsure whether this was necessary. However our car is new so we figured: if in doubt protect it now rather than 5 years later! We are retirees who haul mostly groceries and home garden supplies. We will likely need to schlep something moist sloppy or dripping. Last winter blew 13 cyclonic storms at us and prospects are for more wet seasons. I easily placed the big mat into the trunk with only the two front edges and one rear corner possibly needing trimming. I left it uncut; it is likely that the extra coverage can intercept a few drops of rain or mud. Better to let the mat catch the water than to let it soak into the carpet. The product is very sturdy yet easy to cut with an old rusty scissors. Soft to the touch and flexible too. After a month we are highly satisfied.

Trim to fit if you want!

I originally planned to trim this to fit my cargo perfectly but I'm re-thinking that idea. It goes up a bit on the sides and back against the back seats but still lays flat to protect my cargo area. Its texture stops things from sliding. I am very pleased!

Quality of this trim to fit Cargo floor mat is great. No rubber smell at all. Sturdy with a soft feel. Very easy to trim to exact size and shape. It fits my Hyundai Tucson Ultimate perfectly after minor trimming.

Great to create a HUGE cargo space all the way to behind the front seats

We just got a new Acadia with the back seats as buckets and not a bench. With that said when we put the seats down there is 'holes or pockets' for things we are carrying to fall into between and behind the second-row seats. I bought this trim to fit piece not to use in the cargo area as I already have a custom one but to increase the cargo area without anything falling in between. This piece fit perfectly without any trimming on top of the second-row seats so it is weather-tech'd all the way to the lift gate. We carry 2 Hobie inflatable eclipse's in the back to the local lakes and everything goes back there now so easily and if they aren't completely dry when we put them back in the car? It doesn't matter. Weather tech protects the whole back area.
