The WeatherTech ColorFrame License Plate Frame has all of the features of the Clear Cover in a frame. It is made from virtually indestructible UV-Stable polycarbonate. It’s one piece frame and gasket design allows for easy installation. The Multi-Flex Gasket seats against your plate snugly preventing vibration or rattling. Marine grade 18-8 stainless steel screws and Click and Stay^® screw caps are included. WeatherTech ColorFrame has many styles to choose from, and will compliment any vehicle.

Color Frame Instructions

How can the Click and Stay caps be removed without breaking them?

The Click-and-Stay caps can be removed by inserting a small tool into the holes found at the base of the cap and using leverage to pry the cap into a released position.

Will this cover up my back-up camera?

We test fit our license plate frames to a wide variety of vehicles in order to prevent interference with rear view cameras; however, it is not possible to fit every configuration. We recommend locating your back-up camera lens and determining if the license plate frame would cause interference when installed on your vehicle.

If my license plate only screws in on the top, will it stay on?

Yes. When installed properly, the two top screws will keep the license plate/frame secured to the vehicle.

Clear Frames

Great looking and functional frame

I'm using the clear frame because the model 3 spoiler is attached with adhesive and will come loose over time if pushed upon when closing the trunk. The clear frame takes on the color of the car and provides enough of a ledge to allow a finger-hold ledge to close the trunk with. Win!
