Pet Barrier Extension Kit

WeatherTech’s Pet Barrier Extension Kit adds an additional 11” of height for using the Pet Barrier in taller vehicles. Perfect for minivans, full size vans or larger vehicles that are not compatible with the Pet Barrier’s maximum height of 46”. Provides the needed height so your pet can be securely restrained in these larger vehicles. Extensions are the same ¾” aluminum extension used in the Pet Barrier, and includes hardware, Allen Key and instructions for a fast and easy install. Fence Kits can be used in combination with the Extension Kit.

Can individual components be replaced if needed?

Yes. Should you need any replacement parts, our customer service team will be happy to send you anything you may need.

Are tools required?

As is, the Pet Barrier Kit installs easily without the need for tools or drilling. Please note, however, that a screwdriver and/or Hex key will be needed if a Fence Kit or Extension Kit is added. Hex key is included with the Extension Kit.

Will this leave an indent in my headliner?

Rubber coated components (flex feet) protect your interior. We do recommend removing the Pet Barrier and Kit on occasion just to give your headliner a chance to breathe.

Can the Pet Barrier Kit fit in the back seat/behind the 1st row of pickup trucks?

As is, we do not recommend the Pet Barrier Kit for behind the 1st row of seats, however with the Fence Kit, it will be usable in that location.
